Website traffic what day do you find you get the most traffic

With website traffic I find that Mondays seem to be the most busy day on the internet for this website, is that because people search for these kinds of sites more on a Monday or does every one get more traffic on a Monday to there website.
What day do you get most of your traffic and to what kind of website?

Interesting question - I tend to get the highest traffic on Wednesdays, Tuesdays and Sundays. Saturdays are usually pretty quiet - Mondays are in the norm.
Do you think it depends on the kind of site, or are there just generally more people online those days?

It could depend on the site thats why I started this thread to see as it would be intresting to know

I run a proxy site, on weekdays I get a lot of traffic from USA mainly because of all the kids trying to access MySpace from school. On weekends I still get a lot of traffic, but most of it is from Iran because people are trying to visit censored sites.

It's really hard to tell since my traffic has been growing a lot the last few days. I bought a link from proxy.org yesterday ($10) and they are already sending me 50+ visitors per day. And viral marketing is also very big.

The website I did usually spiked hits on Friday nights, Saturdays and Sundays...

Sometimes it spikes on Mondays, but it isn't really relevant compared to the forementioned.


It's probably because of the nature of the website (which is online radio streaming).

My sites have a lot to do with gaming, and also computers. They are a lot more for leasure stuff and my traffic seems to go up during weekends and sometimes Friday nights.

Some of my friends and I have a youth-group site and we also sell local music and such. We get lots of traffic especially on Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays and any day that falls around the end of each month (that's when the pay check comes in around here)
