The "free.teranews.com" server costs a one time setup fee that is rather low (It was $3.95USD when I asked to be setup) plus a waiting period for posting access (to keep spammers from abusing the system). For someone like me who has modest needs, its perfect. Its limits are pretty generous. You have to be a pretty heavy duty newsgroup downloader/writer to come close to hitting them.
