It look OK in IE, but it's messed up in both Opera 9.21/8776 and Firefox 2:

There's no left-side margin for the "Services" box and the layout is
different between IE and Firefox. In IE the "Services" box is to the
left of the "Welcome" box, but in Firefox the "Services" box is on top
of the "Welcome" box. And that's just on the home page. It's OK on the
other pages.

Yes, it is. :-)

I suggest that you show the 'FreeIndex' image/link to the page bottom, but
under the menu. Then you can shorten the page such that the visitor doesn't
have to scroll down to see you footer menu. (My browser is set up as 1024 X
768.)

I still really like your masthead, particularly 'Making the Web work for
you.'

1. The picture of the house is half-offstage left.

2. Your content is under the menu. You can fix this by:

..content{
float: left; <-- remove this
background-color: #efefef;
border: 1px solid #2974a6;
margin-left: 10px; <-- change to about 12em

3. Drop all that pixel crap and use em units except for borders. Where
have you been the last few years? <g>

4. The nearly unrecognizable links in the footer disappear completely
when hovered. blue-on-blue?

5. The "Home/Portfolio/Contact" images are way too large.

6. The colours are .. uninspiring.

7. and perhaps the most serious error? When I click on a menu link, such
as Bespoke Design, the menu *jumps* and I have to click it again. For
all four of those links.

8. " sometimes your details change,Contact details, prices,availability
etc. " = missing spaces. Other proofreading is required as well.

9. Throughout the site you say "we" but on the contact page, you say "If
you use MSN Messenger, you can contact me via the above address." Me.

10. "Your email address" input box isn't wide enough to see what may be
typed, without using Home/End/arrow keys.

11. Remove the "Clear Form" button or Jukka will jump on you.

12. .rightcol{
float: left; <-- shouldn't rightcol be right?

13. (oh, I'll have to stop now, there's baseball on.)

Surely you've seen lots of posts here for good two- and three-column
templates?

No, it isn't, at least not at my default text size. Try zooming text and
see what happens.

The trouble is the column widths don't jive. Mixing em, % and px widths
will never add up to 100%.

That won't correct the problem unless he also corrects the column
widths. I agree the content block shouldn't be floated at all, but he
also needs to remove width:75% or it will still slide under the menu at
larger text sizes.

The left column has no explicit width, so a 12em margin may or may not
be sufficient.

That's correct of course. I didn't spend a lot of time at it, just
giving a quick fix.

True. There is a lot more wrong with the site than the bit I touched
upon. Looking again, I don't see why the menu items jump away from you
when first clicked, then work on the second click... bizarre. (This is
with Firefox 1.5.0.11; doesn't do it in Opera.)

Is the word "bespoke" in common usage in the U.K.? You never hear this
word in the U.S. (Yes, of course I know what it means.)
