Default Yahoo Domain vs. Yahoo Web Hosting

I have multiple questions on this topic, and any help would be
fantastic:

1. Is there any difference?

2. Do they both have FTP support?

3. Will FireFTP work with both?

4. What are the limitations on the Yahoo Domain (obviously the
inferior of the two due to the huge difference in price)?

Thanks in advance for any help.

I know you didnt ask but...
I would stay away from BOTH of them. If you get spammed from a domain hosted
by them or have one of their IPs doing an attack on your server they are too
stupid to know that its a site hosted by them or that its their IP.

Plus from what I have seen they host way too many child porn sites and dont
kill them when they are reported. Yeah they couold be waiting for law
enforcement to do their thing BUT would you want to be on the same server as
something like that?

What do you mean by "attack on your server"?

I am a huge noob to this kind of stuff. All I have right now is a
google pages account.

Another question: Isn't your last paragraph a problem with all hosting
services?

And if you don't recommend either one of these, then who do you
recommend/use?

Yep but the difference is that most other hosts kill the account or block it
in a way so only law enforcement can access it.

sorry, I still don't know what you are talking about. What are they
trying to accomplish with a brute force attack?
