| Hey, Has anyone found a mortgage web site application provider that allows complete design customization? I been using the trial at alamode.com, and have looked at the details on http://www.etrafficers.com/. A lot of the apps these kinds of services provide are very useful (and time- and- money-saving), but the templates are just awful. Some of the tools they provide are: + Loan app with Fannie Mae export + Multi-lingual interface + Compatibility with mobile devices + Client sections for tracking loan progress and documents + Campaign tracking Rather than re-invent the wheel, we have our own design and would like to port it over on top of these kind of out-of-the-box apps. Is there maybe a CMS that has a lot of useful mortgage site plug-ins? Anyone haver any experience with this kind of site? Thanks. | |||

Pupkin, No plugins I've ever seen, but that's not surprising. This type of plugin is quite specialized, and I wouldn't think it would be very profitable to code something like it for a CMS. Personally, I'd just define it from scratch. After all, it's just basically a database application without a lot of bells and whistles. Getting data from Fannie May would be a little bit harder - but I wouldn't think insurmountable. And I bet they have guidelines and possibly even sample code you can use. -- ================== Remove the "x" from my email address Jerry Stuckle JDS Computer Training Corp. jstucklex@attglobal.net ================== | |||
