How do you cover the costs of running your site?

How do you cover the costs of running of your site?
Do you have Google ads on the site? Can anyone reveal an exact amount of money earned in a month from Google (or other) ads?
Are there any other ways except advertising? I know for donating of coarse...

there are many good ways to earn money from a site, but google adsense is a good and easy way to do so, and you can search for some good affiliates too. but for this you have to do a proper SEO and need good quality content and design

I've found a nice way how to cover all costs of running a website.
By spend nothing.
Free web-hosting, free site (forum) script, free time, online friends to help with the content, one man staff

I am running adsene... not the one in my sig.. thats just for tp.

On my other sites.. i used sets of adsense pub id.. for 3 sites each. Coz sometime if google bans one id i dont loose all my monies!

I earn about $45 a day on appx 12 sites

that is $3 each.

You've got to reach some requirements that Google accepted you. Can you show one or two of your sites here to get a feeling what is needed to get paid as you claim?

I am sorry but I dont put up my sites at forums.

Earlier my sites used to be rejected by gooogle too.

Finally I started using content management systmem (CMS) softwares. That give your site a very professional touch and also put up atleast 20 pages which are filled with first hand original content. Google employees visit your site in person to approve it.

Just put good content and be focussed. You would get approved.

The easiest way to get adsense id is to open a dummy account at blogger.com. make a few posts.. and get your publisher id
