A list of some excellent CMS systems are Drupal Mambo Joomla but if you have limited knowledge of PHP and are not used to CMS systems then I'd suggest try to work with Word Press as it is very simple. Most people use Word Press for Blogs but you can mess around with it to produce any kind of website.
