php4 and apache

hi,

i just tried to install php4 with apache on WinNT. Apache works fine, but i
cannot get any browser to show me anything in php. i'm getting "The
requested URL /php4/php.exe/index.php was not found on this server." and i
followed the steps on
http://www.thickbook.com/extra/php_apachephp4_win.phtml to configure
httpd.conf....
any ideas ? thanx

What do your ScriptAlias and Action lines look like?

Hi all,

I just installed php4 and apache 1.3.9 on my win98 machine and I get the
same msg.
I've tried renaming it *.php , *.php3 and nothing works.
So it's the same on win98 as winnt

A suggestion I'm going to make is use wamp. It makes apache and php easy to setup on windows.
