| I'm trying to set a cookie and redirect to a new page. I've tried: setcookie("cookieName",$value,); header ("Location: http://www.foo.com"); It does the redirect, but doesn't set the cookie. If I comment out the redirect, it sets the cookie. If I switch the order of the lines it does the redirect before it ever gets to the cookie line. I tried combining the cookie and the redirect into a single "header()" call, but couldn't find a syntax that works. I know this should be simple, but I can't get it. Any suggestions? | |||

| The way I fixed this was setting a delay on the redirect, to 1 second. No normal user would notice, another way I did it and made it look nice was put a "Loading Information" graphic on the page, with a 10 second delay, for a normal user it looks like you programmed alot -Andrew Andrew Phillips, Programmer Blue Ribbon Internet 2708 Billingsley Road Columbus, Ohio 43235 Ph: 614.889.9800 Fax: 614.889.9082 Andrew@blueribboninternet.com http://www.blueribboninternet.com "we untangle the web" -----Original Message----- From: editor [mailto:editor@yellowjournal.org] Sent: Thursday, June 01, 2000 1:13 PM To: php-windows@lists.php.net Subject: [PHP-WINDOWS] Can't send cookie and redirect together (php3/IIS) I'm trying to set a cookie and redirect to a new page.
