Default [PHP-WINDOWS] PHP4 Extensions...Any found that will work?

I've had the same problem. I've successfully built PHP.EXE and some of the DLLs.
It's not very hard even for a
VC++ newbie like myself. Unfortuantly the FTP DLL that I built returns the same
errors that the one from
download.swwwing.com.

I wish I had a solution to offer, but until somebody higher up the PHP food
chain fixes the Windows build I
guess we are stuck.

In the past I had much better success with PHP under Linux than Windows. That's
not an option for me now, and
it may not help you, but if you *can* use PHP under Unix I suggest you give it a
shot.

PHP3 under Windows seems much more 'mature' than PHP4 for the moment so that may
be an option for you
too.

Default RE: [PHP-WINDOWS] PHP4 Extensions...Any found that will work?

I wrote to some of the main php devs off the list to ask about this issue. I
got a reply back from Andi Gutmans stating that the Win32 extensions are
indeed incomplete and that they are "going to try and improve the situation
in the near future". Thought I'd share that with you folks.
