| Ok, here's what I am trying to do. I want to set-up a Windows laptop as a "webserver", basically, I want to work on PHP and MySQL without access to the servers that my pages will end up on. So far I have tried to use the webserver Xitami (version 2.4c1 Not the most current), PHP version 3.0.6, and the latest version of MySQL Shareware. Unforunately, this did not work... I did get the PHP parser working, but all my calls to MySQL failed horribly. I download a driver for ODBC/MySQL and that didn't solve the problem... Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make what I have started work? Also, I will take suggestions for other webservers... (if it can be explained how to set-up PHP and MySQL with it...) Thanks in advance for any help, Jim Bo __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Send instant messages & get email alerts with Yahoo! Messenger. http://im.yahoo.com/ | |||
