[PHP-WINDOWS] again *gd.dll

It is included in the binary distribution of php3 !

But it doesn't work! The funktion ImageGif is not existant. So I'm unable to
output images...

You should use the PNG image functions instead.

The GIF compression routine is copyrighted and the current owners of the
copyright do not allow its use unless you pay for it.

Anyway, the PNG functions have the same functionality, and the PNG
format is widely supported.

Actually, patented. The patent expires somewhere in 2003, IIRC. Anyway,
PNG is much superior (only if browsermakers would support transparency in
a sane way...)
