PHP 4 & exec() - Unable to fork()

Hi,
I have a very common problem under Win2K and IIS 5 with PHP 4 as I read in various forum, but noone solution for it.

I checked for the permis, for the env variables and and for the safe_mode (off). Always seems rigth!!!
Can you help me in solving this problem?

How can I execute an external file like FLY ?
The paradox is that I'm tryng to do that because PHP 4 can't be able to load the php_gd.dll!!!

In the near future I'll try to install Apache... but now I havn't time.

Hello Sergio.

I got the php_gd.dll to load by doing some minor changes in the php.ini -file:
- commented the "extensions_dir = ./" away
- included the full path to the extension
