Default GD, libpng, jpeglib, zlib and PHP

Hi

I've been running such system (gd, php3.0.16 and apache) on linux for a
while. Now I need them running on Windows environment :-I. Has anyone
compiled such things yet or is it REALLY must for me to go to shop and buy
MSVC 6 or something :I. Can I use DJGPP ?

Is it possible to run php with gd compiled on Microsoft information server
(ehm.. or something like that.) ?

And how about netscape enterprise server?

(WinNT 4.0)

The better way is to use mingw32 gcc

Hello Pauli and Nike,

What you are evidently trying to accomplish is compiling the
php_gd.dll -extension in order to use the gd-functions. If so, this
is the same thing that I've been struggling with. I'm using the
IIS 6.0 server on Win2k and have both VC6 and CygWIN tools installed.
I've been able to compile the program itself and the isapi-module, also
the readymade projectfiles which include many modules I've accomplished
to compile. I also have all the necessary *.lib files (libgd, jpeg, xlib, libpng...).
So if anyone has good pointers on how to accomplish this, it would be much
appreciated!

A good resource for precompiled modules for php4 seems to be at
http://download.swwwing.com/php4/ (Thanks to Frank Kromann)
it includes
php_calendar.dll
php_ftp.dll
php_imap.dll
php_java.dll
php_mcrypt.dll
php_mssql65.dll
php_mssql70.dll
php_oci8.dll
php_oracle.dll
php_swf.dll
php_zlib.dll

Other resources and instructions for Windows building can be found at:
http://www.php.net/version4/win32build.php
