PHP 4.0.0 Released

After over one and a half years of development, PHP 4.0.0 has finally been
released. The amount of improvements is so huge that there's no chance
I'll even remember a fragment of them. Suffice to say that it's
definitely worth the upgrade!

congrats people - that was a hard delivery!
(and it happend on my birthday!)

having a nice proess release from the assoc would have been
nice, but i guess we are all to busy

lets hope the the community accepts the new php with love and
understanding (all the license stuff) and that the upcoming
4.0.1 will be 100% "bug-free";-)

the last 1,5 years (my involvment in php) have changed quite
a lot in my own life and i'm really looking forward to my
continued (and maybe even stronger) involvement in php's
devolopment as well as in other OS projects

it's not always been easy (ring, ring), but i had a great
time to work with you guys -
