Default PHP4 as module to Apache under Win32

Hi there

I've heard it, that PHP4 should be able to work as a module to Apache under
Windows. Does anybody know, what settings are necessary to use PHP4 as such
a module?

I tried it with IIS5, without success. Only CGI mode is working there, which
means no sessions, global variables, permanent DB connection and so on.

Thanks in advance, Rolf.

Default [PHP-WINDOWS] PHP4 as module to Apache under Win32

I set up php4 as IIS module as described in the php4
README , but php4 don't work as ISAPI filter.
----------- php4 README.txt-----------
Installation Notes for IIS 4.0

*** THERE IS NO NEED TO DO:
*** - Under 'ISAPI Filters', add a new ISAPI filter. Use 'PHP'as the filter name,
*** and supply a path to the php4isapi.dll that is included in the distribution.
THAT'S ALL THAT IS REQUIRED :
- Under 'Home Directory', click on the 'Configuration' button. Add a new entry
to the Application Mappings; Use the path the php4isapi.dll as the Executable,
supply .php as the extension, leave 'Method exclusions', blank, and check
the Script engine checkbox.

and php4 works well as isapi ext.

Best regards,
