I dont really like using PEAR, just because. i odnt know why, i just dont really take to it well.

What have you used pear for?

I havent really explored around, maily i see pear using for db abstraction.

I use pear for a number of things, basically what the point of reinventing the wheel is my opion though on saying that sometimes it is good to know how the wheel works

I particular use the file formats zip_archive, xls_writer do alot automation stuff and some of the pear classes work a treat and cut coding right down
