| I seem to be repeating some basic steps whenever I create a new MySQL database: - I create a browse records page. - I build a separate page for the Add Record, Update Record, and Delete Record operations - I create a login system with user name and password to control access to these pages. Note, these pages are only for my admin purposes to maintain the database, not for users to access. I can't use something cool like SQLYog because the MySQL database runs on a shared server at my web host, and of course they don't allow that. Instead, I either write HTML pages with PHP code fragments (PHP pages), like the ones I mentioned above, or I use my web host's copy of PHPMyAdmin which is a bit clunky. So has anybody seen a PHP page generator that at least would create the above pages for me, based on the database structure? If it could generate PHP code to handle the login security too that would be great. I'm just trying to eliminate some of the tedious repetition from my PHP/MySQL work. thx -- Robert Oschler "Let the web hear you, add your voice to your web site in minutes!" -- http://audiodirect.spiderchase.com/ (For a limited time, free voiceover with every sign-up, use this link instead) -- http://audio.spiderchase.com/ (A song - are you blue?) -- http://bluedreams.spiderchase.com/ | |||
