Yer i know php and it is a nice language to learn and fairly easy as it is OS lots of help around for it, php.net manual is a cracking place to start

I'm still learning. As Watcha said, php.net is a must particularly when you are trying out new stuff. I also usually find myself putting "php tutorial bla bla bla" into google pretty often and you can usually find something useful including loads of beginner tutorials. Also, post questions, lots of people like helping out with this stuff.

I often find myself on zend.com when searching for php tutorials though google. They have a lot of really useful code examples some of which have slotted into my site nicely without much modification.

just find a good book on php and here you go, if you have a little programming exp. then it fairly a simpl language to learn, if not, then its very simple either

I do what charger does. Also have a few books by Wrox. Really like PHP/MySQL combination. Works very well integrating with your html pages or vice versa, can integrate html real easy with php pages.

PHP is based on C++ language and the syntax used in PHP is quite similar to C/C++. C/C++ is still considered the best programming language by many programmers and people who love this language would surely feel more comfortable with the syntax of PHP.
