| I cannot get this command to work with a dynamic file...Only a static one... This works: $printorder = exec("lpr.cups -PEPSON_STYLUS_COLOR_C60 /var/www/html/neworder.txt"); This does nothing: $printcommand = "lpr.cups -PEPSON_STYLUS_COLOR_C60 /var/www/html/" . session_id() . ".txt"; $printorder = exec($printcommand); I've tried the passthru(), exec(), and system() functions and I have tried the "lp" and "lpr" commands. None work unless u hard code the file to be printed. Any suggestions or answers??? .................................................. ....... You can find it with "locate lpr" in your favorite linux shell Regards, Eric VIALLE | |||

| That doesnt seem to be working either...I checked the path using the phpinfo() function...Its there and if it worked when I hard coded it without specifying the path there has to be another reason for this issue...
