Default curl + xml post

Hi All

I'm posting XML strings to a nomadix gateway using the curl extension.
It does work, only problem is that its extremely slow.
Is curl just slow or is there some way of speeding it up ?
I do not look forward to start playing with http headers.

Thanks
Barry

Please ignore my previous post.
I did eventually play around with headers and made it much faster using
fsockopen();

Thanks
