| Andy, You say you've had this up and running a while? What were the steps used to compile PHP4 so it could see and use Oracle9i please? I've been trying to get this info and connect to an Oracle9i database using PHP but the compile always fails giving numberous oci8 errors. Thanks much. -- Posted via http://dbforums.com | |||

I've had it running for a while under Windows, where Oracle support works out of the box for 8i and 9i with the precompiled .zip package and the OCI8 extension loaded. So I didn't compile PHP in that case. I've recently got Oracle onto a Linux machine, so I'll give it a whirl with that in a bit and see if it's as easy. -- Andy Hassall (andy@andyh.co.uk) icq(5747695) (http://www.andyh.co.uk) Space: disk usage analysis tool (http://www.andyhsoftware.co.uk/space) | |||
