Default installing for mssql on linux/php?

I recomend you do recompile the whole PHP and update to 4.3.x, you will get a
lot less problems on this way (you may need to do some changes in your php.ini
after upgrade to get all pages to work).

Yes, its starting to look that way. Not too keen with that solution on
the live server though.
