PHP hosting

can someone point me in the direction of their favorite PHP supported web
host? Maybe a company that you have had good luck with, and is relatively
cheap. I'm a small buisness and can't really afford to pay tons of money.
Maybe some where in the $8 - $14 a month. Thanks alot.

Thanks for the feedback so far, I've done tons of searches on google and
found alot, but with so many choices, I just thought I would get some
opinions in here as to what people are using. Thanks again for the

My personal preference is Lycos - PHP, MySql etc.
several different packages available
Free with adverts
paid for with different amounts/levels of service - very reasonable
prices.

upload via ftp or webtools.
easy to transfer from the free package to a paid for package.
good response from cust services - even if they get it wrong
occasionaly.

Stay away from Interland (www.interland.com). I've had terrible luck
with them (after they bought my previous hosting company).

I've been using http://www.pay-as-you-host.com/ for over three years now and have very
little to complain about. php / mysql / reseller scheme available if it would work out
cheaper for you / control panel / 3.99 gbp per month - wossthat? $6???

and stay away ukhost4u.com u get about 3 months of hosting then they will
disablie ur cp ftp and delete your site do not reply to emails

I use a Canadian company called Sabre Information Access Group
<http://www.sabregroup.net>. The prices are good and the support is
great.

Being rather new to php they have helped me out quite a few times.
