sending SMS with PHP

Hi,

I'm writing a simple PHP website for a local club I run, I was wondering
whethere anyone knows of a way of sending SMS messages using PHP?

Ah, so can anyone give me an example of SMS Gateways that have been used and
some source code? Where would I start looking for SMS Gateways?
