Defining Collectives

Collectives have supreme power over packages within the collective in
terms of API decisions, QA, documentation, defining the way
collaboration works in the collective, choosing a collective leader or
leaders, self-promotion of packages within the collective and assigning
mentors to new developers of packages within the collective.

We need to define what packages belong in each collective, current
categories won't work
Action Items:
mj, arnaud - work on a list to review at the next meeting


Review RFC Proposal

Seems to be on track, clarified some wording

Getting more people involve
Lots of different things to do
Try to cover major conferences and PHP community groups
Announce the mentor program
Change percetion, seem less bureaucratic

jeichorn - will create slides for a getting started as a pear developer
presentation
arnaud - create an announcement describing the mentor program, how to
become a mentor and how to become a mentoree

Figuring out what people think of PEAR
try to get some feedback from different groups

jeichorn - put together an official feedback process

Website organization/updates
the site needs a facelift
we need to update its organization
