It still is used but think ppl are vary of it. Either way it is still in use and also more usefull now attaching AJAX

AJAX seems to be becoming increasingly popular with the whole Web2.0 thing. Javascript still has its uses for form validation though!

I've been using Javascript a whole lot recently. It can add that extra little bit of functionality on a site which can make the difference of a good site from a very good site.

Very handy for manipulating data in forms to make them more useable.
