| MK PitStop Member | What do you think of using css and tables together? Traditionally, since i just started out when css was becoming more accepted, i ve been more used to pure css layputs, but now im beginnnign to realize tables can be useful too. so what are you guyses viewpoints on mixing those two technologies together? | ||

| MK PitStop Member | I think mixing CSS and tables is a very good way to do websites and you can make some really good styles of your website also the pages load fast if there isnt many images set into the page. Another good thing for useing tables is that you can make the SE's read your webpage better. I talked to MadKad about this and he said he will be adding that infomation into his SEO tutorials for others to know.

| MK PitStop Member | Regardless of whether you construct layouts with css or tables you should always use CSS to handle the font styling. If you are acomplished at using CSS to construct layouts I would try to avoid tables, but that's often easier said than done. | ||

| Member Level 2 | I always go for css only, but you could use css to make tables look less horrible.

| V.I.P. Member | For some reason, I've always been a tables person (probably because I started out before css caught on). But using only tables is pure frustration for design and layout. I've since gone the way of doing mostly css and still find some times where tables can come in handy. I think a combination of both work just fine together. The comment on css with php being hard... not sure what that means. (Maybe a typo). I use css with php on a daily basis. It's no harder for me than using css with html. | ||

| Member Level 1 | I found the transition from tables to CSS veeeeeeeery difficult - but I am not going back, and no table will ever again disgrace my webpages by being used for layout purposes. Most of the time, using tables just means that you were too lazy to do it right - there are working solutions for all the basic stuff (multi colum layouts, mostly) and the code just looks so much better, too. | ||
