Default Flexible table keeps showing a gap

I built a flexible table with curved corner on this page:
http://www.saneplanet.com/practice/t...le_corners.htm

But the top row keep showing a gap. Look at it and you'll see what I
mean.

Any tips would be appreciated.

Becuase many browsers have bugs in their handling of white space in HTML
source.
