Frames Vs. Divs

Table is good but avoid using nasted tables if you wann rank high in Search Engines. You can use css with tables to avoid long coding ....

Frames are bot crawled by search engines....

Div is good with css based layouts....

IMO anyone interested in making websites should learn some css. After all, it will allow you to determine how your site will look in an organized way without having to type code in every individual html tag (you can link to a stylesheet on the top of a document using <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="style.css" />)

Frames are still very handy for things like online mail clients. I believe the likes of squirrelmail still uses frames and for the purpose of display information on a private page it does have it's benefits. I personally only ever used them when learning to code. Never used them since.

There is one big thing I hate about divs and thats this, if you go to this main site and make the screen smaller then all the page moves and goes very daft loooking

It depends how you set up the divs with the css template. You can force the size of the div to be a set size in which case it won't move about.

I didnt do that template well not all so i will have to have a play with it and see if i can stop it doing it, I hate divs there so poo

lol it just takes a whole lot of time to mess around with them. Because of a few jobs I took on a few years ago it forced me to learn them.
