use dreamweaver or context.. these colour up your code so its easier to program.. wheather its html, xhtml, php or etc

I use Notepad2. Its great. Dreamweaver is good too, but it is a bit slower and takes more memory. Dreamweaver is for people who are not very good.

I have used nvu and dreamweaver. The easiest but if you like to type the code all by your self then use notepad.

I use Dreamweaver MX. But, some of the codes has to be entered manually. I cannot pinpoint the same, but has come to this problem 2 -3 times while entering banner or other codes. Can any one explain the instances where Dreamweaver has these limitations? It will be helpful for me to keep it in mind in future.
