| Sorry,my bad. The posting got away before I could post further details. I use MySQL version 4.1.21 and have a few tables using the MyISAM engine that are under very heavy contention. I'll refer to them as tables 1,2 and 3. Table 1 has about 100k records, table 2 has between 300k-400k records and Table 3 has about between 1.5 million to 2 million records at any point of time. Data is being added into these tables via inserts , updated periodically and then deleted. About twice a week, with no particular periodicity I notice that either 1 or all of these tables get corrupted. There are no joins being performed between these tables, if that helps.
