| "Clickable" is a GUI (graphical user interface) notion or feature, not a database data type consideration. Cheers! ~ Duane Phillips. That is entirely up to whatever GUI is being used to display the data. -- ================== Remove the "x" from my email address Jerry Stuckle JDS Computer Training Corp. jstucklex@attglobal.net ================== | |||

Of course you could write your own constraints to check if the string is a valid URL (although that would be not that easy).

The right way to do this is to create an anchor tag for the URL. It has nothing at all to do with the database. -- ================== Remove the "x" from my email address Jerry Stuckle JDS Computer Training Corp. jstucklex@attglobal.net ==================

Such as: <A HREF="http://www.lootersofloathing.com">Return To Main Menu</A> If you display that on a web page, it would be a clickable link. In this case the url is the http://www.lootersofloathing.com and the "Return To Main Menu" is the text that shows up. You could just make the text the same as the url.
