Default Annoying Script.

Hi,

I'm trying to create a PHP script to make a site go down. If a certain
word is in the database, the site will go down. That part works fine. I
just cant get the actual word into the database. I've made a script that
runs with no errors. However, when I go into PHPMYADMIN, the field that
is supposed to have the value of 'up' or 'down' has the character of
'0'. I have no idea what's going on... Here's my code (processing and
actual form script are in the same .php document):

====
<?php
// Saeda © Zo Corporations 2006
// All rights reserved
session_start();
if ( !isset($_SESSION['loggedin']) ) die("Unauthorized");
$currentpage = 'Change Site Status';
include('./includes/global.vars.php');
if (isset($_POST['Submit'])) {
include('./includes/database.php');
$chooser = $_POST['chooser'];
$reason = $_POST['reason'];
$query = "UPDATE `sitedown` SET upordown='$chooser' AND reason='$reason'
WHERE name='sitedown'";
mysql_query($query);
header('Location: ./managehome.php');
}
?>
<html>
<head>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1">
<title>Saeda - <?PHP echo $currentpage; ?></title>

<link rel="stylesheet" href="./includes/style.css">
</head>

<body>
<?PHP
include('./includes/database.php');
$query = "SELECT * FROM `sitedown`";
$query = mysql_query($query);
$row = mysql_fetch_assoc($query);
?>

<div align="center">
<?PHP include('./includes/header.php'); ?>
</div>
<div class="topic"><div align="center"><?PHP echo("$currentpage");
?></div></div>
<br />
<div class="maintext">Use this form to change the site status, so you
can take the site down
for maintenance ect. Remember to change it back to online once you
are finished! <br /><br />
The site is currently: <strong><?PHP
echo $row['upordown'];
?></strong><br />
<form action="<?PHP echo $_SERVER['PHP_SELF']; ?>" method="post">
<p align="left">Site Status:</span> <select name="chooser">
<option value="up">Site Up</option>
<option value="down">Site Down</option>
</select>
</p>
<p align="left">Reason for Downtime:
<input name="reason" type="text" id="reason" value="<?PHP echo
$row['reason']; ?>">
</p>
<p align="left">
<input type="submit" name="Submit" value="Submit">
</p>
</form>
</p>
</div>
</body>
</html>
=======

Here is my SQL Database Structure:

====
name varchar(10) latin1_general_ci No
upordown text latin1_general_ci No
reason text latin1_general_ci No
