| OK, I had MySQL 5.0 running under windows... I uninstalled it and then reinstalled it... MySQL is running: C:\Program Files\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.0\bin>mysqladmin -V mysqladmin Ver 8.41 Distrib 5.0.21, for Win32 on ia32 Now I cannot login to mysqladmin using mysqladmin -u root Which I could do previously. It simpluy scrolls the listing of command line options for mysqladmin.exe As per my post on 26th April I discovered a problem with login permissions due to DNS and that by simply logging in as root and changing the host value for root to '%' it all worked... Now I cannot even log in as root....................... Ideas... please ? | |||
