Default Why is this not working?

Jaks,

That should be (9,2) not (9.2). Comma separator instead of decimal point.

It's hard to tell the difference in the manual.

NP, Jaks,

Several of my students have done that, also. It's quite easy to do, even if the
course materials are in larger type - and therefore the difference between a
comma and a period *should* be easier to spot :-).

I'm sure I had the same problem sometime, but unfortunately Babbage isn't still
around to verify that :-).

More or less a beginner here:

php.net => no, for an extreme newbee it might me worth reading through the
main function chapters (i.e. the short lists of functions) to get a basic
understanding of the possibilities. Also, when I started, the user comments
gave me a lot more clarity on how to use different functions. Searching the
online documentation works excellent for me, although sometimes refrasing
search terms is needed,.

mysql.com => yes, get a basic SQL book and it will help a lot more.
