| I have a database where users send out emails to various people I would like to be able to rank the users based on how many email each of them have sent out My table looks similar to thi sent_to sent_by type_sen sent_to - who they sent the email t sent_by - the user name of the sende type_sent - support question type I would like to know what type of php query I can send to the databas that would tell me how many emails each user has sent | |||

The MySQL query would be: SELECT COUNT(*) AS count, sent_by FROM MyTable GROUP BY sent_by You can use it in PHP's mysql_query (or whatever database abstraction you use) in the normal way.
