| Hi: I am new to both Linux and MYSQL. To try and ease the transition I purchased Linspire and Click and Run (CNR). Thanks to CNR I have downloaded and installed (I think) the following; MYSQL Server, MYSQL Control Center, PHP4, PHP4-MYSQL, APACHE. When I look at http://localhost I see the placeholder page which leads me to believe that Apache has been installed. The MYSQL Console Manager pops up a window that says MYSQLCC Regiser Server. I haven't been able to find any documentation using Google so I am a bit at a loss to know what to do. I would like to get started learning more about MYSQL, PHP, Linux, and Apache. So any ideas would be helpful. I bought a book called Sams Teach Yourself MYSQL in 21 days. It does not jive with the screens I am looking at. Thanks in Advance Bob | |||
