MySQL 4.1.7-nt running on a Win2003 server. The database is served by Apache Tomcat and accessed by client browsers. Logged in as root at the MySQL Query Browser, I executed an insert script to add 8 entries into a user table. None of the users added via the script can log in. The browser displays: "You do not have access to application". I'm new to MySQL but not relational databases or SQL, my guess is that there is some permissions issue involving adding the users as the root admin that affects the new addtions to the user table, but dang if I can find it.
