| Member Level 2 | Hey Everybody. What is the best unit for elastic design. I was using em till I ran in to problems where I did not know how to specify borders and stuff. Even if I used pixel for those I had to find out the overall width and things.... and very soon it was all a big mess and I was ready to run in to a wall. So if some body could give some tips and tricks about elastic layout that will be great. I am looking for answers in difficult situations. If I use ems then dimensions for small cells and things become ridiculous in numbers. If I use percentages I run in to problems where I need to know the cumulative length and width. Also what is the lowest dimensions recognized by browsers in ems and percentages. Thanks. | ||
