Drop Shadow

Want to make a Text drop shadow but you don't want to use a large gif or jpeg image. Use absolute positioning to make a duplicate block of text. Then offset the first text block and use a dark gray color for the text.

This is a good idea, thanks, but I feel it is unclean, just my personal opinion(like if trying to copy a bit of text it may start from using the one behind). If people wanted to drop shadow a large amount of text for whatever reason they would have to duplicate the text, if they wanted it for their entire document or site then it could potentially double the filesize, though I do realise there may be no other alternative except using images.
