| Hi, just making my first css and I hit an oddity. It seems my style won't work when I link to a particular document name. I have created a style A:link { font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica; font-size:8pt; font-weight:bold; } and I have a number of links on my page. In Dreamweaver and when viewed on my localhost, it looks fine. But when I upload it to the web host and view it, the first link in the list is not bold. now, the problem can be solved - originally I had the link <a href="01.htm">text here</a> This will not be bold. I changed it to <a href="02.htm">text here</a> and it works. Bold as you like. I am completely baffled about why that should be. Neither 01.htm nor 02.htm exist - it was just a test document. I only discovered the cause/solution by process of elimination in differences between the lines, and honestly didn't think this would be the cause. Can anyone give me a clue why changing this would make any difference? I want to understand CSS but this seems random and odd and makes my brain hurt. Thanks | |||
