| Member Level 2 | I'm sure that it works in all modern browsers, don't know about the older ones. It is better to use css for some images rather than using the html img tag since the user can't select the image (I sometimes accidently drag an image and drop it somewhere in my desktop or bookmarks tab and that bothers me.) | ||

| Member Level 2 | No, in fact it is easier, you just have to know the height of the image and use it as an element's height and then set its background to the image you want to use. It is more efficient because the image does not interfere with your layout and how other elements are positioned, plus it allows you to write text on top of the image if you wish (rather than having to add the text in photoshop).
