| Member Level 2 | Hello members Until recently we were using a free script on our client's site to generate form submissions to send e-mails to our clients. However spammers were apparently able to exploit the code to send spam from our server. I was hoping to get some help either finding a new free code without that exploit vulnerability, or some help setting up a script without that exploit in it. Thanks for your time | ||

| Back Office Guy- ![]() | What script was you using? and also what was the vunerability of it. Usually the addition of a catcha image will prevent bots and spammers to a degree. Also what language are you requiring ASP,PHP etc

| MK PitStop Member | Hmm has anyone got any tips or tourarials for securing a script? One day I'll get around to learning about SQL injection but I would also want to protect against spammers. CAPTCHA I probably wouldn't use out of personal preference, I find it annoying. Rather I think I would use a delay of like 60 seconds or something before they can use it again. | ||

| Member Level 1 | Best and easiest solution I have found is to use wordpress as a cms and then use either contact form 7 or cforms plugins. They have great spam protection. | ||
