Science journals and popular science magazines may be worth a try. Physicists and astronomers are the most apt to doubt the existence of deities. Here's a link containing summaries of some surveys: http://kspark.kaist.ac.kr/Jesus/Inte...20religion.htm (Small alleged correlation with IQ and income appears on that page - not sure it is enough to suggest a target advertising medium.) Google adwords may also be worth a shot - while a few people have keyed on "atheism" I didn't see any sponsored links come up for the word "atheist". | |||

| Best media for athiests? Depends on the product, Scott. Care to share? My guess would be an Atheist target would require just the opposite of what you would use for agnostics to whom you would use factual style media (educational, free special reports, seminars etc). No offense to anyone's religion, whether it's Atheism or any other, it's part of the constitutional freedoms that are vital to basic civil liberties. So that said, Scott, basically you would want to create a swarm/ attack/ trap mechanism. 1) Cultivate a bait scenario which rides on a viral marketing engine. Create something challenging for them...something they will think is interesting, and even want to go tell their circle to go look at. 2) Make it something over the top - ex: a 100% real photo of St. Germain break-dancing at Graceland in pink hightops), then place it into a (serious) website context. 3) Best to keep it photo based, they may not want to read much (not saying they don't read, but again your appealing to an emotional disposition, from my experience... keep it all simple). They (many) tend to be very emotionally stimulated people, so don't go for the "factual media". 4) In the same website environment (landing page) place your product, but don't bill it as the main reason they go to the page. Keep it on the side of the page side for them to happen upon, and click on. Let them "Discover it". Circulate this link to this religious photo in all of their meeting places, and you're sure to get free exposure. Hope that helps some, but again depends on the product. (OK you atheists, you can grab your flame-thrower now, lol. Hey, Scott made me do it lol) ~zion | |||

| One other psychographic tidbit worth considering also, is that generally, Atheist have a tendency to change their beliefs (to believing) as their age increases. This may possibly need to be factored into the age equation if your targeted group... you may want to keep it to, say, the under 30 crowd. ~Zion | |||

| ...Well that was funny, but of atheists I know, some do take on an anarchists view of the world. But the irony in that is that it seems to be, at least at this point, a very high technology dependent movement :| | |||
