| I think I posted this on the wrong forum, so I cut and paste it here. The company in Korea make a simple take home test-kit to test Free-radical activies in your body to help try to move their own Antioxidant line. They also want to sell their test-kit in the US. Their products is based around Astaxanthin, a very powerful antioxidant. They have some great stuff; ranging from simple supplements, lotions, soap, and a face mask. I've personally tried them and I think they are onto something good. Especially the face mask, which is this wet cloth in the shape of a face with Astaxanthin, and aloe which makes your face feel so smooth. Love their lotion, and soap. But I have a problem with the fact that I can't seem to find or contact the right distributor. The only interest I seem to get are people that want X amount of money to help cover the cost of advertisement, or some type of infomercial type sales. My gut feeling is that they are trying to take advantage of me. Who should I be market to? Since I'm new to this type of business, I don't know what kinda of companies I should talk to or deal with. What kinda deal should I make? Is an investment on my part considered normal? I believe in the product, but my gut feeling is that these type of offers are trying to take advantage of me. Where do I meet distributors? Attending Conventions? Calling and/or physically going to the companies in the this particular field? Or should I become my own distributor, and try to work up to a large scale. | |||

Trying to interest distributors can be very difficult with a new product if you are also unknown to them. Your best bet is to start selling it yourself via the internet. After a while you will find that distributors will be contacting you.

They have some great stuff; ranging from simple > I just bought an ozone generator from a company in Singapore who had them for sale on eBay. The actual person to receive the money is a drop ship outfit in Canada who took my money with a credit card payment, who then sent money to the manufacturer in Singapore, who boxed a unit and shipped FedEx (19.99) to my home. This is the kind of marketing that is getting bigger and bigger every day. If you can get your Korean supplier to do the same for you, then all you need to do is start merchandising via eBay and other means, take orders, pay your factory, have them ship to end user, and thus eliminate the wholesaler middleman so both you and the factory can make healthy profits. My son has developed a worldwide network of dealers for his www.rcsailcars.com via drop ship dealers. It works. The beauty in this kind of marketing is that you don't pay up-front for inventory that you would then have to warehouse. And labor is so cheap in Korea that for them to handle individual shipments should be a piece of cake. Wayne www.pueblaprotocol.com
