| [ Moderator's note: This is in reply to a thread that is nearly a year old but the poster indicates an interest in reviving the discussion. -JimL ] Pick ANY form of advertising and you can find thousands of people who say it is a total waste of money. You can also find thousands who are making a very good living using the same form of advertising. What's the difference? The advertiser, not the chosen medium. Do SafeLists and FFA's work? They do for me. I use them to advertise my eBay ads. If I stop posting for a week, sales go down. When I go back to posting, sales go up. Why do they work for me? I've read every ebook and article I can find on how to make them work. I have attended marketing seminars to learn what works and what does not. In a nutshell, 98% of those who use Safelists and FFA's, or any other form of advertising are wasting their money because they are doing it just like everybody else. The other 2% are unique and can make money in ANY advertising medium. Read some ebooks on safelists, web marketing, headline creation (thats the NUMBER ONE thing with Safelists and FFA), etc. Learn to use two step offers and ezine articles to boost your "presense". Keep at it, it does work. You've got to keep with it and test, test, test everything. I'm writing an ebook on this but it won't be finished for several months. Meantime, go to eBay and search on "ebook" and then on "ebooks" and see what's out there. Note: any given ebook on eBay is out there at dozens of different prices. When you find a title you like, search on that title and find the lowest price! GoBidNow on eBay O. D.
