| I cant claim to have any knowledge of the Croation market, but I have worked in the ERP/Enteprise software area for the past year or so in the UK. There was a recession in the UK over the last couple of years which it is now emerging out of. The recession caused people to be more careful of IT spending, so a natural down turn. However, it was soon realised that the supply chain area was one that could be made a lot more efficient due to the lack of technical advancement in that area. This of course is a part of ERP, so spending in that area suffered less than other software areas. I guess with ERP software, it covers so many areas of business, so in a recession, you have to look at the key areas where it can offer the most business benefits, particular cost savings. With the supply chain example, return on investment was high and companies implementing it saved a lot of money with it too. So the marketing I would imagine should be targeted towards those areas that are the most attractive. What happened in the UK is that the niche supply chain management providers got in their first, then the larger ERP players, saw the opportunity and are now trying to get a larger slice of the market. Hope that helps, Ben Cotter "Miro Zorcic" <miro@silicon.hr> wrote in message news:cp24c301fkc@enews3.newsguy.com... > > > Hi! > > I'm from Croatia and working as salesman in ERP industry.
