| Hi: I'm trying to promote our Mac/iPod based company (www.thinkdifferentstore.com) to college & H.S. students and came across 360youth.com. They promise to reach 6 million HS students and 11.5 million college students. Anyone have any thoughts on this company? Thank you, John | |||

Sorry it's taken so long to respond. I tried twice but couldn't post for some reason. Anyway, I sent an email requesting more info from 360youth.com last week and still have not received a response. That's quite telling. Their site claims that they have a rather prestigious clientele list. So maybe they're the real deal. I'll have to do more investigation. Just thought one of you might know something about them or similar companies.

John, You might get in touch with your local high schools, community colleges, university, as 360youth (now a part of a larger corporation) claims it hits such students once to twice a year with info packages. I seem to recall (in the dim, dark recesses of my past) there was something called a "student pack", which consisted of small samples of products, along with info - things that might be of interest to us (Excedrin, No-Doze, toothpaste, etc.). You might also, depending on your creativity and knowledge of your target markets, try to create your own "buzz". Take a look at Laermer's "Full Frontal PR" and "Kellogg on Integrated Marketing" from the faculty of Kellogg School of Management. At the very least, by working with taste-makers and mavens in your local area, you could develop a much more refined message if you decide to go with 360youth. Good luck. Come back and let us know how it is going. George
