| I am a marketing student and doing my first marketing research project. My proposal is: I would like to investigate the relationship between housing prices and interest rates and what effect the stock market flucuations has on that relationship. Could anyone give me advice on research methods to use? Obviously it would be secondary research. Maybe someone can recommend a periodical or data base. | |||

Regression analysis will shed light on the relationships and strength of relationships.

Housing prices can be done in bars, with line graphs over the top representing interest rates and stock market fluctuations. That is a very interesting project, by the way. I bet a lot of the information can be found on microfiche at the newspaper's office, if you walk in and ask. (Duh. I wrote that whole sentence without realizing what century we're in. I wonder if newspapers are still archived using microfiche. DAMN, I must be gettin' old!) Mike
